I got over to detect the old saloon/tavern site and out popped this thing! Thought it was a sherrif's badge and then realized it was way too large for that. It reads Hotel Oasis, F. Joseph, Prop. 27, Tenino, Wash. I'm thinking it was a room badge of some sort. Also found three wheaties...1928, 1937, 1941. STILL NO SILVER! ARGGHHH!

Neat find. Looks like a peep hole cover to room 27.

Keep hitting that spot. The silver will come.

That relic is super cool. I'd take that over a silver any day.

I agree, I would too take it over a silver. Some of those artifacts bring in high $$ yours is possibly one of them.

Thanks for the comments, folks!

Now see, the last two posts just goes to show just how much I am not a relic guy. When I found it I said to myself, "Oh, neat. But it ain't silver, dagnabbit!" :D :D :D

That's a really cool find. Keep doing that and silver will be boring.

Great find! I'd be willing to bet it once had a key attached to it. Room key FOB I think? Monty

I agree with Monty. Very possibly a key tag., and worth WAY more than a silver rosie! You have found something special!

CONGRATS!

Neat find. Keep in mind, where you find something like that you will also find old coins. Just keep plugging away and it will come.

That is a very cool find.

I would be researching that hotel....

Great find...
