San Francisco Bay Area has been hotter than heck the last 3 days 107 Sat, 110 on Friday and who knows what today in Sonoma county so I started early looking for my first gold with the new CTX. I only dug low tones since the ground is harder than the third grade and there just aint no fun digging pennies in this heat. Got a nice 12- 06 reading by a tree in a local park and popped out this gold ring. nice older setting missing center stone tests 14k. Just a 1.4gr dinkier but I know when to come in out of the noon day sun.
