Hour at the Ball field again

and a 1907 V that has seen better Days.



I would have stayed longer, but this is the Ball Field where I occasionally get Buzzed by Aliens .

& today was no different. I was working along comfortably, Dug a Shot gun shell & stood up & all of a sudden My detector started making all types of noises.
I tried everything from Turning it off & on, Retuning, Crossing the Street.
Nothing worked this time. When it wasn't singing out in multi tunes, it was dead silent. so I broke down and headed home.
of course 2 Mile up the road I had to pull over at another Ball field & Double check just to be sure my detector didn't take a dump & it was fine.
But the Winds in that area were Wild. So Here I am.
Waiting for the Coming winter to be over.

Nice V!! Man that spot is horrible. I know last time I was there the etrac went nuts as well and spoiled my day after less than an hour. Weird!

Yea I'd almost swear someone has some type of Electrical Jamming device in the area .
Most of the time it happens in the SE quarter of the Field.



and if I leave that area for a bit it calms down & I can go back.
But lately it's been Traveling.

This is the first time it seemed to Follow me. or be everywhere there .

All them buildings have steel roofs acting like antenna's ?

I choose a park near a hydro dam a couple years ago .
Figured out why the machine was freaking out when I looked up at the network of power lines.....
That was about a fourteen cent day.

Stray voltage might be another factor on your site and moisture fluctuations would affect conductivity of soil..
Does not take much , and levels undetectable to humans (without instruments) can stress cattle.

I had the very same problem the last time I was at the mansion. I got what seemed to be an extremely bad case of air interference. I tried all 4 frequencies on the ATP, turned the sensitivity almost all the way down, nothing. There are some overhead wires there but I'd never experienced this before, there. I figured I must've gotten into a bad spot. So, I walked to the other side. It stopped! Like a switch being turned off! So, I went back. It was still gone!

Maybe some sort of high intensity microwave broadcast? I dunno.

Another couple of things I've noticed that causes this sort of interference are dog fences and some security systems.

At least you found a nice old coin! WTG!

the only thing I haven't taken into consideration is Short wave or the New Digital Radios
Police & Fire are using. there is a fire House next door to the north, But being it usually Clears up
between the two, I can't even explain it off that way. and there is no police station
in town

Have you ever experienced a dog fence? Is it similar?

No I've never had a Problem with electric fences that I'm aware of.

keep diggin' those nickels & shotgun Brass .

this one was so packed with dirt my first Glance & thought was Shotgun brass
as it Popped it out.
first thing i did was let it lay as I filled my hole,
then I grabbed it to put it in my sack. at that point it fell apart, & I realized Nickle
