Hi all,

well my mom has a little better machine (garrett gtax550 ). than what we were usuing . it is alot more fun . we can find alot more coins than junk.

my qusetion is : how to set it so we can dig nickles with out digging all the junk?
we are just use factory settings. and havent seen one nickle . i guess we are skipping them.

also is there a way to find stuff a little deeper by the settings??

oh and is it true a bigger coil will let you find stuff deeper?

this is prob. a dumb question but what does "clad " mean. when u are talking about coins??

Most machines have a problem telling Tab from Nickles! Your just going to have to dig if you want them!

Clad: Unlike reall coins, they are junk.
