Here are my totals so far this year. I see a lot of people posting how much troy ounces they have collected. How do I talley this up? I know the walkers, franklins, and 64s are 90% silver and 65-70 are 40%. No idea about the proofs. I have searched through 23 boxes of halves to acquire this or $12,602. Are these are good numbers or not? Thanks for all the help! Love the site and the people too!

Walkers 18
Franklins 6
1964 6
1965 2
1966 2
1967 6
1968 7

As mentioned coinflation.com is great. There is a silver coin calculator you can use.

As for the 23 boxes you've searched and looking at your totals - you are doing just fine, great start

I believe the 90% is .36 ounces silver. The 40% are .16 ounces silver. So you're looking at roughly 13.5 ounces of Ag.

Dr.Silver; suggest you try to get a U S RED BOOK, it's filled with good info that you are looking for and then some, on ALL coins.
