how do u find artifacts.

how do u find native american artifacts,
you cant use a metal detector.
so how do i find stuff.what ive found so far was just luck.

The easiest #1 one way for a beginner to start is to locate disturbed ground along natural bodies of water, in other words, plowed farm fields along rivers, creeks, or natural lakes. Check the high ground in these areas and pretty much no matter where you live this general rule of thumb will allow you to locate many sites in your area. There is an almost never ending number of other factors but you learn as you go!

you cant use a metal detector.

Most (I think) hunters find their artifacts on the surface. The skill factor starts kicking in when you learn how to spot worked material.

As for the diggers, nobody just randomly digs. They know that there is probably stuff under the ground, because they've already found stuff on top of the ground.
