Hi when do you know what the proper coil is when you go out metal detecting
What Factors Come Into Play
#1 Mineralization
#2 Target your searchin for
#3 Trash in the area
Concentric:

Highest tone will come from the center & should be checked by useing
the X Method w/ a concentric coil.
Double D:




The 10.5" DD 7.5kHz coil transmits like the 6" HF DD Gold Coil
Minelab suggest you useing the Concentric 7.5kHz & 18.75kHz
coils on land and at the beaches.
Double D coils work better on Highly Mineralized Ground than the
Concentric coils you get better seperation.
