Today I took a hike....a little longer than I thought (10.4mi) round trip! I finally got a signal along this old rd showing a strong 55-57 at 5 in I was like hmm 5 inches under the red gotta be old. Glad I had the Jackson and not the leshe anyways here's the pics of my first shield nickel I'll give it a couple of weeks in olive oil and see if it helps I can see a 1_7_ let's hope for a 1878
