How good is the Fisher 1270 to be used at old house sites with lots of nails!!!!

I was looking to get another metal detector but wanted to find one that works well with the tons of nails I find at the old house sites. Finding alot of square nails and wanted a machine that would work in those kinds of conditions with hot rocks. Any information about the Fisher 1270 or another machine would be fabulous!!
