I have been a active dowser since my Amish Granfather tested my ability's when I was 5 yrs old, I am
74 yrs old now and still a active dowser.

I suppose I'd be considered a dowser. I have used metal rods to locate a lot of underground pipes, tanks, etc., plus a lot of things I never dug to see what they were.
