How many miles into the atlantic ocean do Florida treasure hunting laws apply

Hello every one, I just wanted to know if anybody knows how many miles off the coast is considered (land owned or controlled by the state of Florida). And if you find treasure past that point are you allowed to do whatever you want with it?

I think the answer for the state waters is 3 miles in the Atlantic, 12 miles off the keys, and I THINK 8 miles off the gulf coast.

Hopefully someone can confirm. As for the 2nd part of your question I don't know
