Funny that you posted this question! I was just thinking to myself and said, "self, just imagine using one of them big ocean liner suction dredges with their 40 foot wide intake and cruise up and down the Nome coast past these claims. Imagine sucking up 20 foot of ocean bottom for each pass you make.youd be bound to get a lot of shells Now that's what id call a environmentally great thing to do for self! I only wonder how much I could barter the Cap'n for use of his boat and crewfor about a month?
