How much time per week do you spend CRHing ?

I was wondering how much time some of you give this hobby/addiction. I know for me if I had a real job, my boss wouldn't see me much. Cheers, Jim

I put less than 5 hours as we usually just hunt boxes. Every once in a while we may take a road trip which would increase the time spent but that includes seeing the sights etc., etc.

I am currently unemployed so I have kicked it up a notch. I'm probably doing over 10 to 15 hours a week or more lately. just doing boxes. Did 12 boxes last week

Have made long road trips to explore new territory and make a day of it. that has happend several times just cold calling / bank hopping.

I voted between 5-10 hours if I include everything except for the time I spend on this forum both reading and posting.

That includes picking up, searching, record keeping, and cashing in.

When I tried to calculate it based on my actual number of bank stops, time at each, approx add'l drive time, and time to search, my actual number came up just shy of 8 hours per week.

102 hours/13 weeks = 7.84 hours/week

Now I might have missed a few stops or been slightly off on my estimate of how long it takes to search a certain volume, but not too far. Either way the total would be under 10 hours per week.

Now if I used my numbers from last year the time estimate would have been significantly higher as I was doing a full error search on a similar volume which would have pushed it to probably approximately double the time.

I voted 5-10. I average about 2.5 hrs dumping and picking up coins (counting driving, standing line, loading the car, etc.) and spend about 5-6 hrs going through the coins. I use to spend more time on the weekends bank hunting, but we just had a baby and I hit most banks within in my area.
