Found this in the woods earlier today and was just curious how old it is. I would assume newer cans are aluminum?

The new ones aren't aluminum. Yours looks like a newer one actually, just rusty.

No .. It seems to be empty, although the top is rusted shut. Doesn't weigh much of anything though.
