I found this a while back at an old dump site right in the middle of Olympia, and it just occurred to me that someone here might be able to give me an approximate age on it. Its marked on the bottom : N & Co 807, and the glass is greenish brown in color.

Also, if anyone else in the Oly WA area is interested PM me and I'll give you the location of the dump, there's more there than I could ever hope to dig.

Re: How old is this beer bottle?

"N. & Co." is the mark of Nuttall & Company, St. Helens, Lancashire, England, a firm which made a wide variety of bottles for use in the U.S. The bottle dates between 1872 and 1913, when Nuttall and other companies merged to become United Glass.

Wow! that's much older than I expected. I'll have to get back over there to the bottle mine and see what else pops out! Thanks!
