Hello,
I found this bottle yesterday while out shed hunting. It measures 9 3/4" tall and is 3" in diameter. There are no seams but there is a series of marks which run around the circumference. The top also appears to have been added and the neck of the bottle leans to one side.

Thanks!

A champagne bottle, hand applied lip, with tooling scar. Probably early 1800's

WOW! I know there was a house in the vicinity that dates to the late 1700s. Thank you for your response!

Hard to tell, but it appears to have been blown in a turn mold which is going to put it a bit later, around 1900, possibly later if made overseas. I would place it between 1880-1920.

yep, what sandchip said, i have found that exact bottle at a site that produces bottles from 1880 to yes indeed...1920.
