How old is this "Hare Hound Coursing Button"

hi all, I found this Hare or Lure Coursing Button in a gold mining camp with some clay pipes, pottery shards and muskets balls. Any ideas on its age ?

I always considered the sportsman buttons came from around the 1850s. I have found a few in civilwar camps. If there is a readable backmark it would help in trying to tie the age down a bit.

I beleive they date to the 1840's,yours is one I have not seen,very cool!!
