Found in a farm field that goes waaay back. This is the first ring I've found like this. There is a little design that goes all the way around. Does anyone recognize this type? ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1476576658.140759.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1476576671.487561.webp
Found a couple lead pencils and a toasted Indian, and that's all she wrote.

Any markings on the inside? It is almost impossible to put a date on a ring, unless you have a maker or a hallmark.

No markings. Looks copper based on how the top edge is flaking in spots.

Definitely an older brass ring, most likely home made...most likely late 19th...early 20th century...I've found a few of these, mostly rural or farm settings...no two ever the same and that's what I like about them. Great find...ddf

I agree with scuba, about the only other thing that might help is the design or the way it is made / metal then that would not be exact.

Great stuff. We found a small brass ring on our 1683 property. A homemade one with no hallmarks. Congrats. -Lisa & John
