Saturday’s finds! 😎

[blossom]

After a busy week, of beautiful sunshine, we managed to get out today!!

I found this broken (possibly) Roman ring .. cant work out the inscription.. but super excited as found in a field we havent found anything Roman in so far! Then a superb broken buckle, some more buckles, a wing nut.. but seems chunky nd old? 2 small lead weights, 2 pistol shots, a fancy button lots of buttons.. and 2 toasted pre dec coins xx

We have had a really warm sunny week.. so hoping it stays as we have the week off and a lot of ground to cover 😆 xx

Great finds! Jealous again!

[CRUSADER]

Its a 'crown over HP' circa 16th C Ring, the HP is retro like a seal ring. ( not a 100% sure about the P) You should be able to narrow your research.

(might have brought stuff up) We now know where not to bother in the future after doing nearly 4 man hours with just 1 thimble & towards the end of the 2nd hour a chunky silver ring. At first I thought the ring might be 16-17th C, but after researched the Crowned I, it could be 15-16th C. I'll let...

The ring is certainly interesting, well found.
You find such a great selection of buttons.
Best of luck today.
A week of playtime! Now that's great news.
