you got that right, those phones are at times hard to see and use. Been there done that several times. Weird thing
is, you can edit your Thread, but not the heading title.....go figure.
It also seems you cannot remove a thread once you've started it, even if no replies were made. That kinda bites!

I go to the Cape a lot - but will go thru Buzz bay now and then depending on the tides and give a quick hit at certain spots
brought Plymouthian and his gal to a few spots on the Bay - July/Aug
there are a few there that need to be hookah'ed or snuba'ed
that I think are gold mines - hoping to try soon now that season is over
continued good luck

From reading your posts I always wondered if you knew the area. Sorry one less crusty ring! Lol!

I usually start with an inverted aluminum can. I place the item in the bottom and add vinegar. Let it sit overnight or several hours anyway depending on the amount of corrosion. I then rub it with baking soda and rinse with water. Takes everything off silver, including any patina you might want to keep, so, might not be what you want to do with collector coins.

There are so many places on the cape I would love to try. I am now inland and hoping to have the time to try some fresh water swimming holes I used to go to as a kid!

HH & GL!

PS: I was at Mattapoisett Harbor and beach!

I got hit up at a flea market. This guy saw me my girl and my mom from a mile away. Bagged. He got us to let him polish some rings and we were sold. I know I know...Its nice stuff though. Called...Eco sparkle cleaner. They make a polish and a cleaner.

Stuff has a weird smell to it. But, shines up rings nice.

If your really looking to get out some tarnish. This stuff will do it. Use at your own discretion. I was impressed. On the other hand, the polish is difficult to completely remove from all nooks an crannys of rings.

Found a pretty crusty ring with the new Excalibur! How do you clean them up?
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the cleaning info. Very helpful.

Well I tried the electrolysis. It didn't really do
much. Looks like I'm going tomorrow for a dremel and some brass wheels. Hope it works or else I'll just
keep it as it is.
