How to find old coins at old farm dumps.

I have hunted this farm dump before and found bullets and shell casings. I have also found a lot of bottles, but I want more valuable things like silver coins, old coins and other valuable things. So where should I look l and where. There is a lot of land around the farm dump that is part of the woods that does not have a lot of iron from the farm dump should I try there. If you know where to look let me know, thanks.

You may not find them because they aren't there. Was this dump near an existing dwelling or just a place the woods where people dumped stuff? I would do some research to see if there is a plat Map which typically showed where farms were located. If there was a farm near by, then search around where the buildings were located or where the family might have hung laundry.
