how to fix a sef coil?

I traded a super 12 for a 9x12 sef coil (I think that are the dimensions). I met someone off of craigslist to trade and of course I got screwed. It overloads at every setting. I know its fried but does anyone know how or have heard of anyone that has fixed one?

Well as of fixing it im sorry I havent taken any apart only things I could think of to do would b either contact kellyco since they r the real only sef contracted dealer or go to the main source detech from bulgaria there service team or kellyco's may have a better answer for u & those r the only places where a real sef would have come from hope it at least helps alittle

Did you pull the coil cover off?

My m6 did that after I used it one day. I pulled the cover off and cleaned it. After that it was fine. It was my 6x8 coil
