Kimsdad, Skinny Puppy and I were treated to two home sites on Saturday. . . courtesy of DP Bob
The first site was a local demolition that only netted me a few Wheaties from the 1940's but DP Bob's
second site. . . a 1916 homestead across from one of the local forest preserves. . . was a site to behold
The owners were the most gracious host's one could EVER hope for and refused to accept ANY of our finds.
The fruits of my labor included: numerous Wheats, a Sterling "Kiddiegem" child's ring, a 1943 Washington,
2 Merc's (the 1916. . . no D. . . was a heart-stopper) and a damaged "Store Defense Emergency" lapel pin.

Thanks for looking!
