Great info Terry. I've been researching like this for years, but it never hurts to see how someone else goes about their research. For my area, I have Plat books from 1898 and 1913 for numerous Counties. I just look in the books, to see where the old homesteads once stood out in the country. Then, I get in contact with the farmer to secure permission to hunt his field, and the rest is "History". Yes, pun intended ! Enjoyed the video.
