SORRY not enough Detail to see ; here is what I know : G-4 no Liberty Visible ; VG-8 at least 3 letters of liberty visible? ; F-12 liberty completly visible ; VF-20 sleight but EVEN wear on liberty ; EF-40? Liberty Sharp, all other Detail Sharp only sleight wear on ribbon end

Lucky Gal! I haven't broken the 1900 barrier yet on Indian heads, but that one looks like a keeper!

Maybe you could bury it where I could find it!

Hey F2D, check the headband and the pitting in front of the face, here's an enhanced shot of your 1872 IH. Beautiful coin, but the grade will reflect the wear that is visible and any other defects.
