I think that came from the cafeteria of our elementary school. That would make it mid part of the last century. Sounds impressive, doesn't it?

That's a neat old spoon .. My aunt, who lived in the western parts of Maryland, had a similar looking spoon that she used in making apple butter .. not the big cauldrons .. but rather in a smaller 8 quart kettle.
