Hi I was wondering how much this epidote cluster I found in my backyard in Georgia USA could be worth. The camera doesn’t really show the colors very well, but it is a very bright green when under the right light. It weighs 6.6 pounds.

Nice find. On the one hand, your specimen has “size” on its side but, on the other hand, it’s not very “showy” from collector’s display perspective.

This seller has a very nice showy specimen weighing close to 3 pounds available for a “buy it now” of $220.

Nice though yours is, it’s not in the same class, and so not of comparable value by extrapolation to its higher weight. Personally, I don’t think a collector would want to pay any more than about $100-$150 for it, if you can actually find a buyer.
