Went out for about 3 hours and hit the fossil honey hole. Scored big.

These are just a few of the 31 I found today.

Now I just need to find something really cool like a mosasaur jaw or a megalodon tooth. I did find a giant scallop but it was broken into little pieces.

I found Asaphus trilobite from Estonia and hammered it accidentally in to pieces XP

Where I am at I am only going to be able to find marine fossils unless I get lucky and find a reptile or bug that ventured into shallow water when it was receeding at the end of the age.

Here is one that I have cleaned and sealed.

Very cool and interesting.

This is the best one yet. A rare complete clam with a sharp edge.

Blanco, Texas and up the Blanco River. Go up any tributay right and you can pry down sediments revealing never before exposed Creatacious fossils like you found. No exposure, perfect sharp edges. Fossilized ripple marks also(very large and not burried). More than you could ever carry away. Then near my home here in San Antonio is a reef filled with Exogyra Ponderosa, most laying near the surface. Huge ammonites too, but imbedded in limestone and have to be dug out. have fun...

Where is this reef you speak of I would love to come down to that area and fossil hunt. I want some cool ammonites that's for sure.
