Not a Cartwheel though ;D

I tried a different field today! Nothing very exciting, but I had a good day thinking that find was just round the corner. When I
saw the large penny in the mud I thought I had something that might finally end the humiliation and public ridicule that I have
suffered at the hands of Iron Patch. It wasn't to be though, I think this is later than the Cartwheels.

Got a good few coppers and another 17th c token, that's the third one from here!
A worn jetton and a spud gun :D

Couple of wotsits too!

Hi shaun good see your out hunting again. thanks for sharing Baby sitter boy :laughing9:

that gross the Vikings .....to hang one axe Lead ! :dontknow:

Nice haul there Shaun! I would take the pile of buttons over the coins though. There's some oldies in there.
My bet is that the Georgie pence is 1806 based on my charts.....
I found 37 of the 1806 pence/half pence.
29- 1807.
13- 1799.

I'm not telling you how many cartwheels I have found. :icon_pirat: But I will tell you that they were all 1797! ;D
Great finds!
Dave.

Shaun , What are the dimensions please of what appears to be a small Socket Axe and can you add more pics of it please,

I have a few examples on my Data sheets and would like to compare it. looks small like a Scrapper that would be attached to a

Bow Curve Handle.

Here you go Hardy! I don't think it would have chopped down any trees, being made of lead. Also it is only 35mm long and 20mm
at the widest end!

Cheers Cru, I'm not digging any iffy signals either! If I did he would have no wheat left!

After harvest he won't have to plough again
