Found some time today to get out since last post. 42 merc, some wheats and a first for me. Found a pocket spill of two 100 peso coins. Boy that got me excited for a second. :BangHead: One of these days Alice.. To the moon. Lol, anyway also found a DuPage county centennial token 1839-1939. So I made a couple firsts today pesos and token. image.webp image.webp image.webp

You got some pretty neat stuff.

Not bad, nice merc and token!
Good day out

I must say the token was an ironic find seeing as I found it with a metal detector and DuPage county Il. banded detecting on there property back in the 1970s. Also just to set the record straight i didn't even find it in DuPage county.

You found some nice scouting items. I like that centennial token, and of course , the Merc. Congrats on a very nice hunt. :occasion14:

I like the Boy Scout Items. The necktie slide with the people on it is an older one.

Yes its a Boy Scout neck slide from the 1950s. definitely way cool!

Nice Merc and finds! Congrats!

You think the pesos are exciting wait till the edge of a gold colored coin peaks out at you from the ground, then turns into a 10 cent Euro, right before your eyes.

Very nice collection of finds, congratulations!

The Boy Scout items are cool.

HELIX YOU DID PRETTY GOOD .

That BSA tie slide wording was the theme of the 1957 BS Jamboree at Valley Forge, PA.
I was lucky (and old) enough to get to the 1953 BS Jamboree in Newport Beach.
Don......

Nice hunt,, a nice Mercury, some pesos, a token, and some Boy Scout nostalgia.
Well done:icon_thumleft:
