HUGE piece of Petrified wood

A favorite of mine. Found this guy while walking across my Aunts property in Wyoming and she said I could have it. It was REALLY fun explaining to Security at the Airport why I was lucking around a 50 pound piece of wood! But it was well worth it! It is shown next to a quarter for a size comparison.

Vert nice chunk of wood you got there.It actually looks like a piece of driftwood or something.I have a piece that looks a little strange.I'll have to take a picture and post it now because of this.It has me wondering about a few things.Nice find! H.H.-diggummup

Thanks guys, I actually got lucky when I tried to get this on the airplane. The limit weight for a suitcase was 50 pounds and mine being filled with this and many more interesting rocks I found weighed 48! I found a lot of stuff on that rock hunting trip and others that I have been on. Ive been searching in Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and Puerto Rico. Heres a link to some of those pictures...
