Found this item at an antique store in glass lidded box full of random items. Thought I'd share my find as well as the link giving info on it.

Wow, nice grab! That gives me a sort of eerie vibe, though. Anyhow, Congrats and HH!

That thing is all kinds of awesome. Nice find

I have broken many kneecaps in my day, never carved one! I might just have found a new hobby! I guess I will knock out the donors first!

The knee bone is connected to the ....nice.find!

Hmm. That's 150% profit Mohawkman. I gotta sit on this one for a bit. Maybe I should pass him on before the kids come up with a name for him and he gets to be like a part of the family!

I like him.

How do you know it's human? just curious

***edit*** nevermind, saw the link. That's pretty creepy!

Glad yaw knew what a patella was,I had know clue. That's just a weird thing to be carving on.looks like who ever made done a good job on it.

Poor thing looks sorta dis-jointed to me! :laughing7: Cool find!

Did some more research. Info I have found says the item is renowned as a good luck charm. Owners of this amulet experience prosperity and financial comfort as well as finding themselves in a state of being where they never want for anything. Well.....it's been 24 hours and I don't feel any different. Actually, if I were to remain as I am now, I would be content. So, I am going ice fishing this evening. Maybe I will put this thing to the test. Earlier I did promise the family a meal of blue gills and or crappies. We'll see how it goes.

Unique find to say the least.
My knee hurts...

Go rent a camera crew and director for a few days. Bury it while the cameras are rolling, have the dog dig it up. Weird stuff happens and you have a new reality show.

I thought of that actually.
