I left the DFX home and took the SLII out for a quick night hunt before it started raining. The little coil on the
SLII found this 925 Italian chain 6 inches away from a metal pole.

Don't get me wrong. The DFX is a fun machine, but the SLII still finds the booty too! ;)

Cheers!

can't go wrog when ya find silver ...plus free money

Nice night hunting finds. You must work long days, cause you have to hunt at dark. Nice finds anyway. You use a headlamp for night hunts?

HH, keep the coil to the soil and the headlamp batteries ready:), Ringfinder

I used to use a tiny flashlight, but now I use a Vibra-probe. Sometimes the moon provides a lot of light.

I was out a few nights ago with the DFX and as the clouds passed over, the moonlight would dim and brighten. I could easily make out the shape of a blackened quarter as it plopped out of the plug onto the dormant golden grass.

Oh yeah. Sometimes you can just feel the target with your fingers. ;)

They sure do. I started on that machine and it did me well. Nice work on the night hunt.
