Been detecting this summer in extremely high humidity every day. The question is once the detector is back in the air-conditioned house, as the detector cools and reaches the dew point temperature, is there a chance moisture is condensing onto the internal circuit boards? Hope I'm wrong...

Most air conditioners should evaporate the moister pretty quick if there is any, i would be more worried of taking it out of the cool into the hot humid air, like a can of pop out of the fridge into the heat. you know sweating effect. but i might be wrong i usually am.

I don't think you need to worry much. See sawmill man's reply for more info.

I had a Fisher F4 that did not like water. Humidity never bothered it. If I got a little reckless with the water hose while cleaning it,and it got moist and inside it would be erratic. A day out in the sun with the battery out and battery lid off usually solved the issue.

Thanks guys, all good information.
