Looks good honey see I told you to go ahead and post it!

Hummingbirds have to be the hardest thing to take pictures of, you did a great job for how the light looks. I spent way too much time and took way too many pictures this summer before I got a picture of one that was good enough to keep. I learned that if you use aperture priority and open it all the way you can get fast enough shutter speeds that you can stop the wings .

Thanks JB, I wound up taking 3 pics but this was the only one that he stood still long enough. There were two other hummingbirds but he'd run them off and take over the feeder.

Kinda small, but with plenty of biscuits and gravy... :P

(Great pic, Stoney!)

Thufering thucatash! Every try to dress on of those thuckers! Hard to find a tux that small. ;D

Thanks PBK!

Those are some pretty little things. I have had 4 or 5 here most of the summer. Guess they will be heading back south in a few more weeks. Gonna miss feeding those little rascals...and they are very territorial..love to fight..

Here is one of my little buddies...They are just about tame now..not camera shy at all

I have been trying to get a picture of them chasing each other off, that was my main goal for a picture. I just bought a DSLR, still trying to learn how to use the thing, but this is the best I got out of about 80 pictures, shutter is at 1/2500sec to stop the motion.
