I met up with JuJu yesterday and today to hunt some old WWII housing development that has since been taken over by the woods. I promised to post pics of my finds and I apologize for the pic quality.
Anyways, it was a fun 2-day hunt, actually the best time I've had metal detecting. JuJu is the man! He found some great stuff and I'm sure he'll post up with his. Today his friend Tim joined us and we all had a great time. The two day totals for me were: 20 wheats, 2 Mercs ('42, '44 with the former shaped like a taco) a bunch of tax tokens, clad quarters that were mostly from a recent homeless camp I stumbled on. Also 2 junk rings, a cool silver US Army ring with no initials, a few military buttons, 2 marbles that came out of some holes, a '49 Nickel, and some other junk.
Like I said, these were the most enjoyable hunts for me since I have been detecting. Thanks Nate for joining me on the hunts, you absolutely showed how it was done my friend!

This has been an awesome 2 days, and I look forward to future hunts. I still think that silver ring is the pride of the last 2 days. WTG
