Spent the day with Oxbowbarefoot up in the hills today. We hiked a few miles and hit a few cellar holes but not much to show. Still was good to get out because I haven't been out much at all this year. My take was a couple of buttons. Tombacs, flats and a few decorated. Broken part to a strap guide, Canadian bank token and a piece of pewter with silver on the front. It has some initials but its pretty beat up and I'm having a hard time getting good pictures. Also grabbed a mystery item that has to do with the boy scouts. Maybe a money clip? Says Be Prepared.

Nice finds! Congrats! Buttons are awesome.
The last item looks like it has spoon on the left side.

Thanks. It's suppose to look like the other side. It's just bent.

Haha. My time frame was a little off in this one. All the research said it would be earlier. Should have seen the copper when it came out of the ground. I was thinking all kinda if crazy things. Oxbowbarefoot actually said maybe canadian bank token and I brushed it off because I thought the ground was way older. He scored the older coin for the day.

Ha yeah I've been there before. Actually today I found an 1801 DB at a 1760 site. Then dug an anchor button and the damn thing is modern. Real kick in the......teeth

Couple of interesting buttons, and at least you can ID the copper.

Thanks Rick. It's pretty toast but those are not hard to figure out. Not enough detail to get a date but ill take it

Nice Digs indeed, it is always great to get out, the finds are the icing on the cake, especially on a nice day like today was:thumbsup:
