Nice deal on those headphones!

Nice deal on those headphones!

Thanks. I have been wanting an extra pair. I am glad I hadn't ordered any. I tried them out with my detector and they work great.

you did well i think, what year is the hot rod?

It is a ford Shelby GR-1 concept. Doesn't say what model year the car is, but it is a 2007 hot wheel.

I went to a local goodwill today. I bought a Shoney's stuffed bear still in original package for 49 cents, a few new comic books in original packages for 99 cents each, and some sodoku puzzle books for 49 cents each. Hope everyone else is finding good deals!

I went to goodwill and they had a box of baseball, football, basketball, and NASCAR cards mixed together. I paid $17.99 for the whole box. I am trying to sort them. I will post my finds when I am done.

IMO, you overpaid for the cards. I hope I am wrong but if there is one thing I have learned it is stay away from sports cards unless they are from the 60s or older.

I mostly wanted the collecting supplies. There are over 300 hard plastic holders. There is a nice baseball album and about 200 binder pages. There was also $3.25 worth of quarters in the box.

Good call. Toploaders are expensive.

Here are my results from the box. I have about 7000 baseball cards, 1000 football cards, 1000 NASCAR cards. I got a nice card binder. There were 312 plastic card holders and 203 binder pages. There is a box that say super star locker room that is unopened. I think I am going to try and sell some of the cards in big lots.

I sorted all of the cards I bought at goodwill. I sold individual lots at my grandparents auction house. After I take out the consignment fee I will end up with $136. I made over $100 profit! Happy hunting!

I went to a few yard sales today and got a few coins. I paid $3 for a 1911 barber quarter, $1.50 a piece for Roosevelt dimes ( 1947S, 1953S, 1957D, and 1964), $0.75 a piece for Indian head cents ( 1907 and 1908 ), $0.75 for V nickels ( 1910 and a full liberty 1912), $3 a piece on standing liberty quarters ( 1925, 1926, and 1929.).
Happy hunting!

Hunter nice finds and congrats.

A quick word of advice on the coins: I encourage you to buy more coins when you get the opportunity. I would just like to point out that even at those prices, there are better coins to be had. Specifically the IH cents and V nickels. At those prices you can often find those coins but likely in better condition. You paid about melt for the silver coins. Enjoy them!

Went to a yard sale today. I asked if they had any coins they would like to sell. I bought all of the coins they had. I got 5 walking liberty halves for $7 each, which is about melt.

Wow!

I have been buying pocket knives lately. Tonight I sold seven knives at my grandparents auction house. I had $82.50 invested. They sold for $270 all together. After they take their 20% I will make about $133.50 profit.
