Hunt in all medal and get all the iron trash out you can and then go back over it with some discrimination if you wish. Listen for deep weak iffy signals especially. They are often the really good finds. Montyt

I ALWAYS hut in all metal, go slow and really listen for the high tones. A lot of coins I have found are right beside iron and if you disc out iron you sometimes will not get a coin that is close to the iron, slow down your sweep speed and really listen to your machine.

What detector are you using? It sounds like you might be using an M.X.T.,if you are, hunt all the time in the Relic mode and dig all the high pitched tones.

Turn it past foil and dig everything! Might take a while to get the good stuff. Learn your machine-when you do, you'll be able to dig small plugs.
