I like passing thru "Todays Finds" reading about all the Treasure and will be posting a little of my treasures once the weather gets warmer. I do slip out when the weather is cold but a lot less. Was able to get out this Sunday for a few hours with some friends after a Big Water event here in the Chesapeake Bay Saturday, Polar Plunge 2015. First time I have ever been after this event and enjoyed the calm chilly water at 36 degrees. Can't see how they do it in the raw....

Hard core, good hunt!

You're a keen man

Very nice OBN! Congrats on the gold!

I agree with Treblehunter... hardcore.

Yeah, it's hard core but that's how I started my "career". In the very same water off the very same beach. Just
about 30 years ago.

Kudos to you OBN, it brought back a memory or two. I'd like to do that again but, you know what I mean about the
work involved. Trying to balance in water and put a foot down to mark where to put the scoop because you can't see the ground, then
digging up clay where every time you push down you tend to float up, then getting the scoop emptied into the screen while trying to
keep one foot on the spot and fighting the waves to keep from getting moved off. All the while, the sand is filling the hole back up. LOL

Yeah, those were the days and worth it too! But, I dunno, not for me these days. Hard enough to walk for 5 hours these days. :)

WTG!

WTG!

That is Amazing, I am going to PM you, I am sure you have some great stories and history about this area.
I know there are so many old beach's around it would take several life times to hit them all. And yes on the dag clay..it was
even worse this day...the oyster shells had been uncovered....like digging in concert. Stay in contact, and Good Luck!
