The weekend before Thanksgiving I was out with Tim & Mayo for a
river hunt and struck it big. . . almost :P A real heartbreaker in the
truest sense. All I can say is this ring looked REALLY good in the mud
(and I could hardly wait to show Mr. Senior 8)) but after closer scrutiny,
it was just a flash in the pan. . . gold-plated with CZ stones. . . ah poop!

A week later, Tim, Neil & I got out closer to home and hit the
woods while the weather was still kind. The area we hunted had been
"cherry-picked" for MOST of the silver but there were still some goodies
left. . . including a 1908 Barber Dime and a few CJ prizes ()

I also recovered a bronze, cattle horn tip and an old lipstick case that's seen
better days.

Thanks for looking!

Great looking group of goodies Mark. Good chance the woman that got that ring
found out what you know and pitched it in the river.

Great group of finds there Mark.

yea, images-1.jpg , means a lot of goodies left over.

BTW, are you going to use that little shovel to dig your finds from now on?

If I ever find out who it was that butchered the grounds Mark and I went to Sunday, oh heck yeah. We are going to remove all their digits and weld that little shovel on and make them recover an old Pontiac from the riverside with it and/or feed them to the fish.

But ask me how I really feel about it sometime....

Ladies and Gentlemen, time to throw in the towel. Mr. Senior finally has an e trac. No wonder finds are scarce now.
