Hurricane hot spots

Looking for some advice. I recently moved to the gulf breeze area and am looking forward to MDing the beaches after the storm. Any tips that could help me? Like things to look for or areas to avoid? I am still new to this so any help is greatly appreciated.

I think the reason no one has commented is because we have know idea at this point what the conditions may be yet. We expected a lot from Deb.... and got more disappointment than treasure. It kind of moved several feet of sand..... but put it right on our towel liines and over the normal shore line. Looks like the wind direction this time may be different.... but we dont know yet. You will be looking for the same things.... regardless of the storm, like low spots, cuts, hard pan areas or shells.
