There is a Baptist church at the end of my street that sits on 2 civil war era homesites. I have just gotten permission to detect it. 20 minutes in at the base of a large pine tree, at a depth of 7”, came this screaming copper token. And I love it. I have been getting some good early 1900s tokens out of my neighborhood this year so far!

Nice looking token.....

Love it. I think trade tokens are so neat. What a stellar find!

tokens are always a great find, so many different kinds of them

Nice find Iowa. Tokens are always welcome.

I dig tokens too, it's a shame the luck ran out of that one!

Congrats on the beautiful token find.

Nice find, you should run into some luck now. Those old trees can sure be a treat! Those old tokens are some of my favorites things to find!

Love those old tokens. Congrats.

The Hoover Boys found one just like it and gave the history on that symbol.

Super cool. It was 1030 at night so no numbers to see, just a bell ringer of a high tone. Thought it was gonna be a German coin at first sighting. Far from a let down either way! I do know the symbol was common throughout history at different times. I believe this token is from the 1910’s at the latest. I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve come up with.

Cool token, congrats! :icon_thumleft:
