Obviously we all love the hunt.
Since finding the GWI button I have only been out once but found some interesting things. I am not certain what most of them are but they were definitely the most interesting of the bunch.

The ball i believe could be a pommel for a sword. It has one small hole on the side and didn't ring as iron.
the button is what I believe to be pewter?? its a white metal with a neat shank.. I am not sure how old.
The two iron bits were next to eachother so I'm thinking part of an old gun.
The bullet is quite small and has one ring. ( my favorite find of the day )
The small lid like piece there i believe was a flap opening to a tankard. But I honestly don't know.

I'll keep posting what I find! No coins yet but the sun is coming out so looks like its time to dig.

Nice digs. Iron upper right is an ox shoe. Round brass with hole is an ox knob. Keep working that site.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Is there any way to tell the age of it? I see there are quite a few styles that were made.

The button is made from Tombac & is late 18th C.

Nice finds. I like that Flat Button.

Nice finds. I like that Flat Button.

I did too! Hope to find more. It's quite rough terrain though. Wicked old tall trees and overgrown shrubs.

Nice finds, glad you can get out and dig!

Nice finds and saves. Keep at it.

Nice relic hunt! :occasion14
The round object is an ox knob, love finding them in the farm fields!

The brass piece that had a hinge on it is the inside of a brass check valve. It was hinged so liquid could only travel one direction inside the brass fitting.
