Hello, I had falsing problems with my PP so I un soldered the wires from the bored and put shrink wrap on them tested it and it worked, I went to pull it apart and make sure everything was tucked nicely and in my excitement forgot to push the button in. Yes, I fixed it then broke it again a minute later. the button replacement is beyond my ability, is there anyone around who can help me? I can pay, trade whatever, LMK. Thank you.

I would personally call Garretts and get a quote to have it fixed. I'm retired from an industry where I worked on tiny solder jobs but I had professional work benches and people I could use for support.

I too broke the switch in one of my Propointers long ago. It was a nightmare getting it back "as right as possible." It ain't worth it. If Garretts will do it for $25 $35...let them do it. martin

I didn't think they would be willing since I modified it but I'll try. Thanks. If a guy wanted to make some $ learning to repair machines out of warranty would be busy.

They will fix it but not under warranty.

Just got one back, same problem.....wore out switch, out of warenty............they fixed it, no charge!

Better take your loses and send it in for repair, or buy a new orange Pro Pointer.

my buddy sent his in after warranty expired and the fixed it free.he only paid shipping

Yes on that i would just send it in to Garrett..
