Well I was running the seed tender today planting soybeans, and I got a lil time in to swipe the house site in found an 1840o dime. Was out there five minutes, and found this. Dunno what it is, but I think I've seen one. Also found this bullet. CW Era maybe. I've found nothing modern here, and it's been in farm land for 60 plus years. Also found an 1887 indian head penny, but kinda toasted. Found some other goodies too. Anyway. Info would be appreciated on the bullet, and I pin.

You think so? I was wondering. I've never done that before. I got 2 more bout same condition. Where could I find out how to do that?

Do a quick search online a simple electrolysis is easy to make . But always make sure you don't have a key date coin first . And practice on some wheats or older dirty Lincoln's.I will try to post some before and after of one I did .

Wow. That's pretty good. Yea, I'll try it on some memorials first. Thanks. Got 3 IH I can do that to. Toasted.

Bullet is a maynard carbine, and the i is a company letter! Yay! Got me a new spot!

Looks like you found one of those spots where you get to dig all non-ferrous signals. Those are always fun!

Congratulations on your finds and for coming across a new spot.

Yes it is. Not much iron there at all. Found a few pieces of cast, but not much. It all goes home to be thrown in the flower beds. Mostly brass, or copper.

Sweet finds!

Thanks. I also see you found another awsome buckle. Congrats! My dad found one here not far from my Atlanta arsenal. Boy how I'd love to find me another. I'm happy to find anything though to be honest, but the c.s. stuff tops em all.
