Hello!

I dug this silver spoon near the University of Oregon. It weights 20.7 grams, and is marked STERLING PAT. 1928 T. The "T" at the end after "1928" is incused.

Anyone know anything about the maker of this spoon? What years was this style made?

THANKS!
Neil

Believe the pattern is called Lady Diana by Towle Sterling, dates 1928 to today. Company is in Mass. and still in business. Sterling spoon sells for $50-60 in a decent antique store. Good find...

Towle, for sure. Good ID, Austin.
The Lady D pattern (#1928) was made between 1928 and 1996.
IMO the wear on the item suggests from the early years.
Don........
