I?m going tomorrow morning to my fort permission that I?ve done so fantastic about but haven?t found any throwing in the last trips which is also a New Orleans. If anybody knows this guy who explained how he did the three tone please let me know I got to ask him questions and I can?t find it in my my comments. My question is should I use my dick Coil to get as much signals as I can or do I use the 6? coil Because they have plenty of jun still in the ground Which includes pulltabs , rusty Square nails, coke, bricks white shells oyster shells you name it. Should I use the three tone on a small coil factory coil or big coil)

I would use three tones. On either.

That 3 tone guy was me and as Smokey says, I would use 3 tones regardless of coil size.

And the thread is the sticky just above your thread

Hey ColonelDan wow I love the 3 tone I put my one tone starting at 17 for the 3 ringers, but it?s y favorite setup so far. Now if I could just get out there and find something that?s not in my test garden it?s raining it?s ass off out here. Ugggh IMG_2289.webp

I would NOT use a 15" coil on trashy ground, with my definition of more that a couple targets under the loop at one time. The big coils seem to do best on wide open areas when you are originally looking for a homesite or something.

I agree I totally agree Smokey

Hey smoky so you would use a 15 inch coil on trashy grounds?

I use a 15" coil everywhere but in the water. Just go slow enough to here the tone on each target

I try to bump to 5 tone but it's just too much. I like to keep it simple!

I?m out here swinging the 15 inch on the three tone at a place that I?ve just beat up so bad and I got a tax token and a lead round ball which may not sound like a lot but I can?t believe it, the spots not that big
