I did email a meteorite website and they said they thought it was a “weathered ingenious terrestrial rock” but this is magnetic and extremely heavy.NH

... and I would say they were right! Plenty of igneous rocks are high density and are attracted to a magnet... notably those in the basalt family.

Also I took a dremel to it because it looks like metal so maybe it is a giant piece of slag or something covered in rock?
