My cousin passed away today in his sleep. This is the guy that played guitar and sang so beautifully.
We used to jam together on our acoustics guitars.
He will be missed.
Sorry I didn't know where else to go...

sorry Rusty, but I would like to go in my sleep IF I have to go

I am glad he didn't suffer. How old was he?

Thank you Jeff! He was 64.

Sorry for your loss....

Thank you BWD! For your kind thoughts!

now that I am 60, 64 seems young! Was his health poor?

I'm not sure but I was unaware of any health issues. I think it just was his time to go on. I wish him on to a higher level of existence! I believe you can't take anything out of this universe and that we just change shapes. But the sun sure feels good...

the sun is indeed always good

Rusty.... I feel for ya guy. And I am so sorry for your lose. I had a horrible lose last Feb. 16th 2015. But, not only you - me and many of us have as well. I too turned to this forum (be it right / wrong) at the time.

But Rusty... I am very sorry for you tonight and please hold him in regards as you are... I personally know how you feel... Here's to ya Rusty.... :occasion14: Brad

very sorry to hear.my thoughts and prayors are with all who knew him.peace be with you all !!!

Sorry for your loss, RustyGold. Peace on your friend's soul and my sincere condoleances.

Honor him by continuing to play when you think of him..

Thank you Brad for your kind thoughts. It's very much appreciated.
My apologies I just wasn't doing so well with the news.
Thank you everyone for your support.

I'm so sorry about your cousin Rusty,64 is relatively young. Yes,think of him and honor him when you play guitar and he'll always be in your heart.

You will always have your memories. However, it is hard to lose someone who helped make your life a more enjoyable one.

So sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and family and friends.

64 is young. He may have passed on but he is not gone, remembered by those that loved and knew him.
You will in fact hear from him from time to time when your strumming and thinking about him, familiar banter of things he would say or do will pop into your memory, a reminder that he's not gone.

Thank you everyone. Your positive words sure help.

I'am very sorry to hear this. God bless.
